It’s been a while since the last newsletter, so here’s a refresher on the Dino's Den questions from April 2016:

1. When was this arch created? (Hint: it was an El Niño year)

3. Is it still there?

Answers:

1. El Niño Winter, 1982-1983. The arch appeared the morning of January 29, 1983 after a very large swell (photo taken by Kim).

2. Mitchell’s Cove.

3. No. Arches come and go—Kim took the second photo in 2014, and now there is almost nothing left.
