About
Founded 1981, the SCLU is a 501(C)(4) not-for-profit surf club. The SCLU is also a proud member of the The Coalition of Surfing Clubs (CSC), an international organization that represents the interests of surfing clubs throughout California and the world.

Membership to the SCLU is by invitation. To join the club, you must be sponsored by a current member in good standing. Prospective members must attend three club meetings and contribute volunteer hours to the club. Prospective member votes are held quarterly.
